 Shocked
LOL
Not the most impressive knit in the world, but I am filled with pride because it is the very first thing I have knit with my inherited knitting needles. What's it called? Garter stitch? I haven't a clue. I just know I made it on my knitting needles on a whim and it's soft, purdy and has some neat vintage wooden buttons on it (also inherited from the same person whom I got the needle stashola from!). I was doing an immediate destashing on some yummy soft yarn I bought for a swap and decided it would make the perfect cuff. Grin

I needed to make myself something. All I have been doing is swaps, giftings and commissioned work lately. This was easy enough to whip up in about 45 minutes (yes I be a SLOOOOOOOW knitter!). The buttons aren't centered perfectly on purpose, I wanted them to look like the cuff of a shirt's buttons would. Wink

I'm thinking I should have re-varnished the buttons before I sewed them on.  Huh They are 35-45 years old. Not very shiny... or does it look okay?

I think they look good, and they seem shiny, though that could be the flash bounce.  If you don't like them, how hard would it be to take them off temporarily and do that?
