I finally made some cracked marbles, but couldn't think of what to do with them.

Did you fry the marbles in a frying pan to crack them, or use another method?
How did you secure the marbles in the clay?

I baked them in the oven @ 500 them immediately tossed them in ice water.  To get them to stay in the clay I made sure the clay surrounded the marble either all the way around the back or wider around the middle.  None of them have fallen apart yet.  A couple of the ones w/the clay around the middle can be moved a little so it changes the sparkly.

I remember when I was little, my Mom & I used to crack marbles by rolling them around in a frying pan, LOL!
I may try them in the small clay oven I use then, thanks!

Leave them in the oven for at least 20 min before dumping into the ice water.
