All the packages have been so great , this has been an awesome swap.

I received from Calliel , and I lovvved everything , it was all so personalized.

First the best part of the package!

a picture of a hippo make out of binary code. I'm a computer sci major so this was perfect. I'm also obsessed with hippos.

Next was a bag with a quote from one of my tattoos, amazing .It also came with a matching change purse. In the corner you can see the hand carved K she made as well.

and last there was a very sweet card and a K charm from shrinky dink paper.

Thank you so much Calliel it was an amazing package

I'm so glad you liked it, spolowitz! Grin I had a lot of fun with the hippo, too.

ruby--I used a thermofax machine; we have one in the fibers studio here. If you don't know what it is, basically you take any black-and-white laser-printed image and put it in a plastic sleeve with this turquoise film, and run it through the machine. Then when you take it out of the plastic and peel off the paper, the film is a perfect screen of whatever you want to print. Smiley I love it more than life itself. Then I just printed it over and over again on bamboo cloth. (Eco-friendly!)

I have been anxious to post the wonderful goodies I received from EmilyFlew...

Some stitch markers in the typewriter font I like...

Yes...this swap package did rock!

A very cool bag with just the right amount of sparkle!

The bag has some nice (vintage I think) material on the inside but I just could not get a good photo!

A stationary set with cards made from EmilyFlew's photos around NYC...

And some yarn! Soft, yummy yarn!

There were some definite similarities in our crafting...a sign of great minds thinking alike or just a really good pair of partners?!?

Thanks a bunch EmilyFlew!!! I love it!!!!   Grin

Whoa, that J bag is sweet!

Aaand...hooray! Today I opened my mailbox to find a large but incredibly mistreated package in it. It was wrapped up in plastic with a note from the post office saying "sorry we killed it but kindly eff off." I wish I'd taken a picture of the other side; all its recycled-paper-padding guts were spilling out. Somebody wanted the stuff you sent, spolowitz!

Fortunately, aside from being covered in paper pulp, the stuff inside seemed unharmed. And it was awesome! First, there was a lovely handmade journal. spolowitz told me she made these, so I requested one!

She left the nameplate blank so that I could stamp it WIIIIIITH...

A whole set of stamps! These are truly killer. I'm going to use them on EVERYTHING. She made some cute little note cards with them, in all different colors. The cards themselves have little drawings in the corner...

Next, she sent some sweet jewelry and buttons she got from the Sampler! Totally awesome:

I especially love THESE. I squealed over them!

A sweet card she sent to explain everything...

And finally, my VERY FAVORITE THING...

A tea box!! I have the awesome one from Best of Craftster in my wist, and she made me a smaller version. It's soooo beautiful. I immediately filled it up and then made myself a cup of tea so I could use it. Wink

Thanks again, spolowitz! I hope you love your stuff as much as I love mine Smiley
