OK, pics are ready!

So I got this beautifully made little pouch

It's so cute, and I ALWAYS need these!

A cute keychain

I really needed one! (my cat likes it too)

the item that is ALMOST my favorite, adorable subway font stitch markers in a subway themed case!! Soooo cute!

and the item that IS TOTALLY my favorite, an awesome tshirt!

I'm trying to show with my hands how much I heart this shirt. Also, I was grinning, but decided not to subject you guys to my post-gym hair and creepy wild-eyed look. Wink It fits perfectly too, and the lines are so sharp!

Thank you again jesssf! And you are going to laugh so hard when you get my package. I won't say more so as not to ruin your surprise, but suffice it to say we have a little gift of the magi situation here. Wink

yaaaaaaay!  here's my package from MopTopStumptown:

notecards set 1:

they are green notecards that say my name at the top and "knit fast, die warm" at the bottom, with pink envelopes.

the "true color" shot:

the "in focus" shot:

notecards set 2:

black and white notecards with my name in red (these have my "new" name - i'm getting married in August and will be changing my name, so I'll be able to use these after that!) and red envelopes:

...and some stickers!

"knit fast die warm" in red and black cut into hearts.  i LOVE these:

THANK YOU, MOPTOP!  i love everything SO much.. it's perfect!

All the packages have been so great , this has been an awesome swap.

I received from Calliel , and I lovvved everything , it was all so personalized.

First the best part of the package!

a picture of a hippo make out of binary code. I'm a computer sci major so this was perfect. I'm also obsessed with hippos.

Next was a bag with a quote from one of my tattoos, amazing .It also came with a matching change purse. In the corner you can see the hand carved K she made as well.

and last there was a very sweet card and a K charm from shrinky dink paper.

Thank you so much Calliel it was an amazing package

I'm so glad you liked it, spolowitz! Grin I had a lot of fun with the hippo, too.

ruby--I used a thermofax machine; we have one in the fibers studio here. If you don't know what it is, basically you take any black-and-white laser-printed image and put it in a plastic sleeve with this turquoise film, and run it through the machine. Then when you take it out of the plastic and peel off the paper, the film is a perfect screen of whatever you want to print. Smiley I love it more than life itself. Then I just printed it over and over again on bamboo cloth. (Eco-friendly!)

I have been anxious to post the wonderful goodies I received from EmilyFlew...

Some stitch markers in the typewriter font I like...

Yes...this swap package did rock!

A very cool bag with just the right amount of sparkle!

The bag has some nice (vintage I think) material on the inside but I just could not get a good photo!

A stationary set with cards made from EmilyFlew's photos around NYC...

And some yarn! Soft, yummy yarn!

There were some definite similarities in our crafting...a sign of great minds thinking alike or just a really good pair of partners?!?

Thanks a bunch EmilyFlew!!! I love it!!!!   Grin

Whoa, that J bag is sweet!

Aaand...hooray! Today I opened my mailbox to find a large but incredibly mistreated package in it. It was wrapped up in plastic with a note from the post office saying "sorry we killed it but kindly eff off." I wish I'd taken a picture of the other side; all its recycled-paper-padding guts were spilling out. Somebody wanted the stuff you sent, spolowitz!

Fortunately, aside from being covered in paper pulp, the stuff inside seemed unharmed. And it was awesome! First, there was a lovely handmade journal. spolowitz told me she made these, so I requested one!

She left the nameplate blank so that I could stamp it WIIIIIITH...

A whole set of stamps! These are truly killer. I'm going to use them on EVERYTHING. She made some cute little note cards with them, in all different colors. The cards themselves have little drawings in the corner...

Next, she sent some sweet jewelry and buttons she got from the Sampler! Totally awesome:

I especially love THESE. I squealed over them!

A sweet card she sent to explain everything...

And finally, my VERY FAVORITE THING...

A tea box!! I have the awesome one from Best of Craftster in my wist, and she made me a smaller version. It's soooo beautiful. I immediately filled it up and then made myself a cup of tea so I could use it. Wink

Thanks again, spolowitz! I hope you love your stuff as much as I love mine Smiley

I received a while ago, and got the package on Friday. I'm only posting now, because I'm the biggest procrastinator in the entire universe. D:

DesignerDucky, I love everything! I'm going through a bit of a black-and-red phase right now, actually. Cheesy

My typeface of choice was Broken Ghost, and here's what she made me! (Photos are sort of terrible, because Finnish winter doesn't include daylight.)

A fabulous tote! The words are quixotic and levity, which I mentioned as some of my favourite words.

A notebook! (I realise I'm using too many exclamation marks. I can't help it.) I love notebooks, and this one has a bookmark in it! Eee! The letters are my initials. (The pages had come off, but I glued them back on. I hope it holds up.)

I love, love, love this box. I'm going to be filling it with all sorts of ticket stubs and receipts and things to use as inspiration as needed. It says 'hopeful romantic' on the lid, because that's what I am. Cheesy

And random goodies! Two pretty pink candles, a big yellow letter S (which I shall affix to my door at the first convenience), strange American sweets and adorable little paper stars. I have a big glass jar half-full of paper stars, and these have joined the ones I've made.

Thank yooouuu! You're made of awesome.

ETA: The sweets are all gone now, btw. Strange but good. (Have you dared taste the ones I sent yet? Tongue)
