I am looking for a rectangle shape metal strap adjuster, looks like a rectangle with another piece of metal welded through the middle, lengthwise. And I am also looking for a rectangle shape "ring" that will match the strap adjuster. I swear I have spent so much time searching on line. I found a supplier in the UK, but I was hoping for something stateside. Does anyone have any leads?
Thanks so much in advance!!!
BTW is anyone else enjoying the midwest blizzard today? already been outside shoveling 2x today!! My sewing machine is lonely.

ballymaloe, did you ever find one of these?  I've been trying to find one myself. Checked my local fabric store, also some of the chain stores (Joann's, Michael's) but cannot find one. They've had some small ones, but not big enough for what I need.

eta - I have found some online, but only in Australia and England. Not really worth the expense to ship it.

No, I have not had any luck for what exactly I was looking for. Frustrating.

I'm not sure if they have exactly what you are looking for but I suggest www.strapworks.com
I know the have lots of strappings and supplies and for really really reasonable prices.  Let me know if that helps!

Hey Kerryberry
thanks for the info, I did order some metal slides and rings from strapworks. They are a heavy duty formed wire, not a mold or stamped metal. The items I ordered are working out fine. They seem to be a good company to work with. Thanks for the post!

Hi Atomic Mary
I checked out the site you mentioned, and they have white metal slides in a 1" width. This is good to know, thanks for the info!
