My husband and his workmate have just sent me the link saying... 'I WANT ONE.. PLEASE!'

he is very cute and the persons mum who made it has done a great job!

I was just wondering if any of you have any ideas or tips on making one? I have made some amigurumi type dolls before.. obviously they were crochet.. but i dont really know how to go about knitting this?

thankyou all!

I'm also looking for a Sackboy pattern. If anyone has any ideas on how he's constructed, please let me know!

He looks like he's knitted in a 1x1 rib.  He also looks felted.

Yes i can see he's knitted and i thought that he was felted slightly too.. i'm trying to work out how to knit him.. i even taught myself how to knit on DPNs this morning, messing around trying things out..haha! i'm sure if we keep at it, eventually a pattern will emerge..

He looks AMAZING! Makes me wonder about the game itself - this is the first I've heard of it.

seriously?HuhHuh?

well, I guess my working at GameStop helps, but really, this game looks truly amazing.  it seems like it would be the number one reason for me to buy a PS3.

I want someone to make me one.  I'm not a knitter, but I can make something else in return.  kinda like a swap-type deal.  if anyone ever figures this out, could we swap...pretty please???  with sugar on top?

The minute I saw this game, I knew someone was already knitting a Sackboy. I'm super excited about the game and the crafting potential! Can't wait to see what you've come up with, mmmfruit!

Has anyone found or completed a knitted pattern for Sackboy?  I have a few "grown-up" children who would like for me to make them one.  Thanks for any assistance you might give me.
