Can I ask how you ship baked goods? I make really good vegan p/b frosting brownies and oatmeal cookies but have never shipped them...I am afraid they will go bad!

my best guess is to ship them priority - that only takes 3 days to get to it's destination.  if it can manage to not go bad on your kitchen counter in 3 days (non-refrigerated), then it should be fine in transit for the same 3 days (non-refrigerated)

Yep, that's how she sent them. The rice krispy treats were wrapped in plastic wrap, the banana nut bread was wrapped in two big pieces of plastic wrap and then tin foil, and the snickerdoodles were wrapped in packages of 6 in tin foil, then placed inside a tupperware-type tub. This was all put inside a u.s.p.s. priority box with additional paper tucked inside the few empty spots.

It all arrived in perfect shape and everything was nice and fresh. I'm sure it helps that it's about 20 degrees outside during the day here in Michigan, so it was basically like freezing everything for a couple days.

Rice Krispy treats are and always have been my favorite!  How cool to have all those goodies and you don't even have to clean up the kitchen!  Lilyvinilli- it looks like you sent a wonderful package and now I'm off to see what is in my kitchen...

The previous posted pendants are beautiful.  It makes me want to start wearing jewelry.  Although I'm thinking the pendants could be used for other things...they really are great.

And the felt food!!!  My kids would love this stuff, especially my son who is four and LOVES to cook.  I might have to add it to my list, I would have to request pancakes though, b/c those are his favorite thing to make!

I know that I haven't commented on everyone's packages, and everyone deserves a positive comment b/c these are really great gifts.  So for everyone I can tell time and effort went in to your swaps and I think the thoughtfulness is wonderful!

Yeah, my (sort of) mother in law sends us cookies from Alaska every Xmas and they're always fine, so I figured as long I wrapped them really well they'd be okay. It only took about 3 days to arrive. I'm very glad everything showed up in one piece. I was particularly worried about the banana bread because it had to sit right on top, but it was fine.

summertimerolls, I hope you do add it.  I love making the felt food, esp the pancakes because they are so easy and fun to whip up.  I could make your son a tall stack!!

i received from jojo-modjo today!  she picked me for a wisty surprise, plus some sweets, since she's in the UK (and I'm not)

first,there is tea and welshcakes - no clue what they are... I'll have to try these!


then we have the sweets - i definitely have to hide these from my son, because he WILL take them... fudge, chocolates, sugarsticks... what's not to love?


and then the wisty surprise... i love those charm bracelets that just have all that *stuff* on them... don't want the dangly bits too long though, and Jojo got it just right.... i'm loving this bracelet!
