I received a whole package full o' project bags from girlosun_9 today!  I need some bags for my many ongoing knitting projects (and my recent embroidery project, too--I'm learning!)).  Girlosun_9 was super creative with the closures, too.  I've included a detail of the button/elastic closure on one of the bags.  She also included the Nappy Bag pattern, which I love!  I'm looking forward to making it for the next friend who needs one.  Thank you so much, girlosun_9!

I am being so selfish this swap.  I've been claiming people that want things that I want to make and I think that the apron I am making for kitschkween has to be the cutest apron I have ever made LOL  I will be sure to take pics before I send it out this week just in case she can't get pics.

I can't find my camera cord either Sad I am so sad. I will have to wait till Wednesday when I go to my mom's house. (she doesn't loose things like I do) I will get pics up as soon as I can to show off my fabulous goodies! So far I've received 2 packages to photograph. Can't wait to post pics!

Every one's packages are so great so far, I can't wait to get some more claims going (I will also be posting pics of the Irish bag I sent to CrossStitchinMomma for her friend)

Hey Fiber People: I am very interested in personal swaps for painted/dyed roving or top. I can swap supplies or crafted items. Let's talk!

Every body wants a rock to wind a piece of string around.

I also recieved a fantastic bag for my friend... I just know she is going to LOVE it!
Dinosaurus Meg even made a small purse with a shamrock on it to go inside the bag. She also made the cutest dinosuar card I've ever seen! I'm so jealous I wish I could draw cute dinosaurs!

Here is a closeup of the pretty fabric...

Here is the cute little purse that goes inside the bag...

The adorable card...

The dinosaur card and a card I got off the internet...

That purse is amazing! It really inspires me to boost up my swap packages!

I'm so glad the book is going to be used! The poor book....I tried to pawn it off on my mom, who is an *amazing* knitter (she used to teach classes, has won many awards, etc.). I showed her several patterns in there that I would love for myself and my rug rat, but her reply was, "why don't you take this back... I have plenty of patterns." The last time she bought a pattern was 1985. Barf. So much talent!

Don't get me wrong... I love retro in the right time and place. However, an oversized The Smurfs sweater is never going to feel at home in my wardrobe  Wink

Dude!  With leggings and a side ponytail in a banana clip?  You would be soooo stylin'.

Need something crocheted?  I'll swap amis, afghans, shawls or whatever for a box of yarn.  Smiley
