Thank you, CrossStitchinMomma, for my son's new swim bag! I love the polka dots, so it might just become my new swim bag  Grin

A big thanks to quilted who sent me a fabulous box of goodies!  I received two great additions to my collection of tea cups/pots (Actually, I think I'm taking the blue and white one to work with me; a little refinement at the middle school level never hurt ANYTHING), two taller cups that may be sake glasses (anyone know for sure?), some rocking candy from Japan and 4 vintage paperbacks including a book of great poetry and Innocents Abroad by Mark Twain!  Chekov and Tolstoy round out the book list for some great reads!  Thank you so much, quilted!  Your swap package lifted my spirits (my husband leaves on a 10 week training mission for the Department of Defense tomorrow and I need cheering!).  Also, notice the cool Wonderwoman stationary she wrote her note on!

Holy smokes, I am so amazed at the phenomenal swap package I received from 1boy1girl1kitty2. She sent me two packs of bamboo knitting needles, and a sock knitting kit from an amazing company that shears, dies, spins, umm...yarns? the yarn!

They even included a picture of the sheep who so generously donated her wool!

Also, check out the pretty stamps and card:

Thank you so much, 1boy1girl1kitty2! I can't wait to craft something for you through this or another swap.

I got my package from quilted, an embrodiery kit, a few days ago!

She sent me soo much! Needlecrafts for Dummies, needles, embrodiery string, two embrodiery hoops and some awesome smelling mango-coconut soap! I just need to find something to embrodiery on!

When life throws you lemons, throw them back and demand oranges!

Amidst the bills and credit card offers today I actually received good mail!

I got the best package from la_chrystelle.  She claimed me for something based on the character Prickle from the Gumby series and this is what I got:

A felted Prickle!

Here he is poised with the only Prickle merchandise I've ever been able to find - as you can see, la_chrystelle has done a great job with his likeness:

And a picture with a battery for scale:

She also threw in some embroidery needles and thread for my goal to learn how to embroider.   So pretty much, she spoiled me:

Thanks again, la_chrystelle!

I also received some embroidery floss today from CrossStitchinMomma:

Now I just have to figure out how to embroider!

Thanks, ladies - a good day for mail...
