children i want to work with children so badly!

That's why I'm an elementary education major! But, I really just want to be a housewife, possibly homeschool my kids, and be crafty all the time! But unless I magically find someone right out of college who makes enough money to support that, I kind of need to get a job.

is that like a lingerie shower that  they throw for a bride before her wedding? (sorry if this confuses anyone, my church does those, since bachelorette parties are not "allowed")

I am not sure but I think it's like a Mary Kay party, where the hostess has things for sale.

Probably more like a Passion Party or a Pure Romance party.  Having been a Passion Parties consultant, I've gotta say that I've seen first hand how crazy some of those parties can be!  LOL!

i don't know if the sender means a passion party type thing or a theme party where everyone wears lingerie... i knew people who threw these in college and everyone just wore their underpants...

Resent working:

One of the main reasons I want to have kids is so I don't have to go to work anymore. I wish I was pregnant!

I received this card yeaterday...

"I can't ride a bike. I don't know how."

I didn't learn to ride a bike until I was 20. Smiley It's never to late to learn. Just jump on, but be prepared for a few spills here and there. And wear a helmet!

I received 4 cards in the mail yesterday!
Here they are:
Front:

"I still haven't got to the end of the final Harry Potter book"
and the back:

"I love the stories, but I hate her writing style!"

I can understand this.  I read a lot of fantasy cause I like it but sometimes the writing can't make you read even a really good story.

It says, "When Im driving I fantasize about smashing my car into a tree.  Im not suicidal I just want to feel that adrenalin."

I know what you mean.. I just ride roller coasters or go skiing instead.  Something about throwing myself down mountains or hanging upside down and going really fast.

It says, "I want a family so BIG That people will stop on the street an marvel at the sheer number of us."

I think I would be someone who would stop and stare.  I can't imagine having that large a family.  I think for me it is partially an environmental issue... the zero population growth idea of a couple having no more than two children.. and partly I just don't think I could handle it.

This one had most of the words fallen off so I had to put it back together a bit.
Front:

It says, "I smoked for years because it kept me from cutting myself."
Back:

"I don't do either anymore."

I'm glad to read the back part.  I'm happy you found a better way of coping than either the cutting or the smoking.  Both we obviously harmful and I'm happy you found a way out of the cycle. I've know people who have cut themselves and I know it can be addicting in it's own way.  You should be proud that you had the strength to overcome both.
