Thats an awesome secret. River Phoenix was slightly before my time but I can understand the sadness.

Nails and Pigtails - I wish I had time to paint my nails, period! Occasionally I'll do them, but then they get messed up and I hate having to fix them.

I'd rather keep my lungs as clean as I can.

Vaporizer! Using a vaporizer instead of a pipe or whatever literally vaporizes the active ingredients and does essentially no damage in comparison to the dirt your lungs collect from smoke.

I try not to get involved in pro/anti conversations, I just thought I'd throw in this little tid bit cause a friend of mine is _always_ talking about the pros of vaporization haha

i've also heard about the merits of vaporizers, although sadly (or not?) i've stopped smoking.

I received this card today:

"How do I become her again? She looks so happy."

I can so relate to this one. Before I met my husband I was in an 8 year relationship. I was such a happy person when we met and fell in love, but do to things that happened during our relationship I became a very sad and depressed young lady towards the end. I hated looking at old pics of myself because I too looked SO happy in them and I wondered where she went. Sad Needless to say I got out of that train wreck of a life and made a decision to be HAPPY AGAIN. Mind over matter. Believe it and you can make it happen.

sidenote, he always told me I was NO fun. I was still fun, he was just an a$$! ha!

I received another one today:

Here's the front:

And the back:

I know it's not the same thing, but 5 years ago today, I lost my first baby.  I was only 4 months pregnant, but it was the most horrible feeling to know that my sweet little one was never going to be in my arms.  It's such a weird feeling to have not known my little one, but miss him.

I'm so sorry about your Dad.  I wish I could say more, but I'm sure you've heard it all before.
