Wow! I am impressed! I have been wanting to make a belly dancing costume for years, but haven't yet had the gumption. I've even gone to the point of buying BOOKS on it, but keep putting it off... so I really respect this project. And it is a great design! This one is very flattering and I love how the skirt flares out from underneath the red cloth, like a built-in hip scarf. Love it!

You are looking great! I agree, MORE BEADS Wink
Not just beads, but those gold coins too (on a triangular sash?), to put a little tingle in your shimmy.

You go girl! Smiley

Did an excellent job, and you look great. The fabric colors are good on you, and the design is figure flattering.

Completely rainbow obsessed SAHM to 3 & hoping to add #4 to our family this fall!

Have old jeans, pillowcases, or t-shirts? I'll take them! I'm also always looking for the sleeves to women's long sleeved shirts!

Bellydancing has to be the most fun form of exercise! I was a bellydancer in the late 70's through the mid 80's. There are lots of great websites chock full of information.

Did you know there is a weekly show on tv? Go to www.shimmy.tv for the schedules.

There are lots of belly dance videos on youtube.
