i"ll be down in miami for a long weekend and i have no idea what to sew up. i'm from new york, and here we pretty much wear what the heart desires, there is no such thing as "crazy" because crazy is normal. but i'm not going to wear my winter clothes in miami and i want to look descent.

should i sew up dresses? pants w/ blouses? what's the trend/ style of miami?

Disclaimer first: I don't actually live there, so feel free to ignore this.
I do live in the South, and have been there quite a few times.  I can tell you that even where I live, quite a ways north of Miami, Spring is practically here already. Depending on when your trip is, it probably will be in Miami by the time you're there. (check weather.com) If it's over 60 degrees outside, people will be in anything from shorts to sundresses to long sleeves and boots. We southerners get really confused about the definition of "winter". Miami, while not as crazy as New York perhaps Smiley, certainly has its own sense of adventure, so don't worry too much about standing out, just be comfortable and wear something you know is stylish for you. That said, an actual Miami native will hopefully find this thread and be able to give you more specifics about current styles. Have fun!
