Between being out of town and then really sick i havn't had a chance to take the photos!!
i am so sorry. i kept hoping that if i mail you your package that the book would show up in the mail.. still nothing yet...  soon i hope though

Ooh! That sewing book from RedPaint is so nice!

And RedPaint: where in the world did you get that Jolly Roger tape? (I need some!)

(And do those mints really taste like... grog?)

I know!  That is my favorite thing in the whole package.  I tried the mints last night and to be honest they don't really taste like anything.  But if you close your eyes and try real hard they are rum-esque.  LOL!

I've seen Jolly roger tape at Hot Topic if you have one in your area.

So melissa sent me the coolest package ever!
I wanted to learn how to knit so she sent me a bag, which i couldn't get a photo of that would do it justice, but it has pockets at the bottom to put little stuff in, and th top of the bag is a draw string so that if you are wokring on big things or have animals that like to get into your stuff this will keep them out of it. ( my dogs love to get into everything so it is a good thing).
She sent me a kniting roll i guess we were on the same page in that idea.. with a few differnt kinds of knitting neddles.
There was some directions in a book that she made also which was really neat.
Two diffent type of yarn that are awesome colors and supper soft.
And a scarf that she made to give me somthing to look at and go ok i can do this too!.
She was afriad that she might not have sent enough things i think she sent more than enough.

She is sooo good at getting all of the colors i love!!

I love the recipe cards even more now that I know you (or your dad) took the pictures!!!  That's awesome.

Here's a picture of the bagsket with the drawstring closed.  I didn't get a good pic of the inside though.

I'm glad you liked the package, and I can't wait to see some knitting!

I have NO idea if I'm doing this right, but I looked online to see if I could just wing crocheting, and here's what I've done so far:

love that bagsket.  It is just fantastic!
I almost made one - but I just never seem to find the time to sew for myself.  I know. I am really trying to work on that situation and cut back on my swapping.
I think I will still organize swaps but I do need to start working on things for me too!
I do believe I am going to have to wists that bagsket!
