Mave - that's some gorgeous looking embroidery you've done there!!

Oh, and

Could my lovely mob1 please take a gander2 at my first gallery post? My 'organisational'3 system has just gone arse over tit4 and I think I've finally gotten it sorted out. If youse5 can tell me if I've gotten anything wrong, I'd appreciate it.

WOW! I got my package from funthreads today and she was worried....oh my it is sooooo awesome!

We did "learn to kits" for each other, a learn to knit kit for her and she sent me the most awesome learn to quilt kit! 1st off she made me 3 Nuirgurumi dogs to represent my babies at home, Niya, Sarg and Coco!
Aren't they cute?

A checkbook cover and card holder with instructions to make so I can practice with my walking foot! Also the cutest little pouch that had thread and quilting pins in it.

Look at this! It is a beautiful pouch that is holding a rotary cutter, "the purple thang", a 5 7/8 x 8 7/8 cutting mat and an 8 x 4 plastic grid (don't know the technical name yet, lol).

Look at all this fabric!!! She has each baggie marked a,b,c etc....and she sent 2 quilting magazines with a ton of post it notes with her advice on the pages, so awesome and priceless!

Here is everything, also a picture keychain for me to put the pic of my first grandbaby coming in July, freezer paper (for templates), batting for my project and some double stick fusible web for me to applique the flowers onto the quilt!

Did I get spoiled or what?! Funthreads you are so awesome and a great friend!!! I LOVE it all! Smiley

that is absolutely amazing!  I love the fabric for the checkbook cover especially.

It's actually quite easy, paint, wooden letters, Modge Podge and scrapbook paper!  This is the second set I've made, the forst was for a friends babyshower, they're a lot of fun to put together

I'm starting to feel like I'm the only one left on this site that doesn't have that book, lol!  It looks great though.  Wasn't it written by a user here?
