And the jar of stars... too cute! "Wishing stars" is such a great idea! I'll have to look up how to make paper stars.. I love makin stuff out o' paper!

A star jar! That's such a cute idea. I want to learn to fold stars...

And I'm not a wrapper... I usually fill my package or padded envelope until it's ready to burst to save postage so fancy wrapping would probably look less fancy when it got to its destination.

I've sent now but I have a feeling I forgot to explain something in the letter... I guess I'll figure it out eventually.

Just to let everyone know where I buy the brownie wash from...Sally's beauty supply. Bath and Body also sells a hot chocolate body wash which is what I normally use, it smells a little sweeter and more like chocolate. Buut they stopped making it! And make a "new" one every year and it's not the same. The one I sent is the best I've found so far! Hope that helps....

So I was just looking at Anya Kase's package from Red Paint, and after going, "Huzzah! Someone else who likes Good Omens like I do!" I noticed the Wisconsin postcard and went, "Hey, another Wisconsinite!"

Then I saw the copy of NOTA and went, "Holy crap!"

Y'see, that's the magazine of the college that I went to, also, in the town I currently live in, and while I was there I was published in that same mag! I even sent one of the published pieces to my swap partner!

Red Paint, where are you at now? I'm gonna laugh if you're still in the big C. Valley. Cheesy Small world...

So glad you like it, Anya Kase!  Cheesy  I'm so glad that you and your kids enjoy the stars, I personally think they're pretty cool, so it's a relief to hear that they're appreciated.

The stars are easy/fun to make -- just google "origami stars" for a video tutorial (it's hard to explain the process without a video!)

atlascoughed -- that's crazy!  I'm no longer in your neck-o-the-woods, but I'll PM you...

A lot of great packages, impossible to respond to them all, but really all of them are great.

I received from Auntiem today.  I am so excited.  A lot of great things.  Onto the pictures:

Group shot, some still unwrapped in picture:

Plumeria plant and volcanic rocks to go with it (from her trip to Hawaii)

A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson and Sunset magazine:

A couple of Auntiems favorite places to travel to:

A gorgeous small scarf and beautiful little purse:

A knitted bag, knitted pouf, and wonderful smelling sandlewood soap:

Group shot of the wonderful stationary:

Stitch markers, frog keychain that clicks (I used to have this exact one that wore out some time ago, now I have new one.  Yay!!!), recipe cards (which I must look at before I go shopping tomorrow to see which recipe I'll try first), and a Washington State Calandar:

Fotonovel (I have never seen one of these before today, looks like a lot of fun), postcards from Washington State (the state she lives in), Newport Oregon (recent trip), and Hawaii (another recent trip and the number one place I want to go visit), and photos.  I love the "guess the swap item in the picture", because we have been swap partners before and in the grouping of pictures is the water color and frame I had made for the photo swap.  Her cat is too adorable.  I love kitties even though I am allergic to them.  A couple pictures of Hawaii, I espcially love the North Shore.  I love to watch surf documentaries and love it when surfing is featured on Fuel TV.  And then some boats for sale.  If only...

And last, but most definitely not least, the letter:

Whew!!!  And I took more pictures than that, some with more detail.  You can view all the pictures of what she sent me (under the titles of maf swap received) and of what I sent her (under the title of maf swap sent) here:
http://s147.photobucket.com/albums/r310/myklia/maf%20swap%20package%201/

I can't even begin to tell you how much I love everything.  Thank you so much Auntiem.
