Me and some of my work mates are going to Poland in the beginning of March, but on our way there we're going to spend a day in Berlin. There will be 3 craft teachers and 4 other crafty people in our group. I don't think we'd be very interested in shopping, more like visiting a craft museum or learning something about German craft culture. Or just being tourists and sight seeing. Unfortunately the wall is pretty much everything I know about Berlin.

i haven't been to berlin, but I am going so I would like to hear other peoples' input, too!

I am looking forward to going to the flea market at mauerpark -- http://berlin.barwick.de/shopping/flea-markets/flohmarkt-am-mauerpark.html -- which I've heard is good. If you're there on a weekend you should have a look-see.

I recently went to Berlin - there are a TON of places to go. I suggest you just try google and type in something like "craft Berlin" or somthing.

There is a Legoland museum in Potsdamer Platz that is pretty awesome - and you can play with legos in one area, too!
