I just noticed people were talking about this again, maybe we should try to finally organize it? I have decided I am going to try to myself to one swap at a time, and I've got a really busy month or two coming up, so if I organized I wouldn't be able to start it until sometime mid-October.

On a related note, I just got tickets to see them in November! They cancelled their tour last year, so I am super excited to be able to see them again.

Mid-October works for me! I'm in only one swap now (that is in the sign-up phase). This and the Lolcats round 2 are my top two wishlist swaps.

I really want to do this, but I can't organize anything right now, and I am taking a swap break after I finish the one I am in now. if someone else wants to go ahead with it, feel free. i just don't have much time for any crafting right now Sad

decemberists=december! that's my vote! it could be small, like one medium, one small. i might be willing to co-org in a few weeks if someone else thought it might be a go. . .i've never org'd before but i'm becoming pretty swap-savvy. . .

Actually, Decemberists=December sounds good to me too (or later if need be). After I finish my current swap (my first Smiley) almost all of my creative efforts will be going towards getting my portfolio ready for art/liberal arts schools. That means I must finish a sculpture that isn't even halfway done, do at least 10 new drawings, string up over 200 origami cranes, organize what I already have, and take pictures of everything.  Shocked

are people still up for this? i got a craving for some decemberists crafting!

i'm about halfway done with my current swap. i'm not planning on signing up for anything else atm...it's a money thing. but i'd save my pennies for this swap if it was going to happen.
