Beautiful! What paints are you using? I've done wood burning with water color pencils but the colors don't come out that bright and beautiful. Do tell!

I'd also like to know what paints you are using... Love the Raven... Also where did you get the images you burned and painted? Did you draw them? Very fine work!

The paints are just your standard basic grade acrylic in the bulk 16oz bottles. If I had the $ I would get the higher quality acrylics but not yet. I just drew the images right on the wood, there is graphite transfer paper though for tracing and some sites online that have designs. The online designs are mostly for old men painting ducks on their riffles so I would suggest just coming up with your own. Thanks for all the comments, glad I could spread my new hobby, it will be fun to see what you all make! Have a good one, Anali Smiley

Ahh!  Ravens and skulls are basically my two favorite things!  And they look great in your paintings/woodburnings!  Nice job!

I'm not really all that sure about good woods yet, I literally just started trying woodburning this month. i just used some cheap $2 plaques at Michael's. I would look around at woodburning sites online, some of them talk about woods to use, maybe they say where to get them. Hope that helps Smiley
