Right now my son likes to do a mash-up where Santa visits a few of them, which is hilarious. (I am so going to hell.)

no you aren't Smiley When I was a kid we went to Midnight Mass one year, as communion was winding down Santa walked in, took communion, then paused and knelt at the huge nativity set up in front before waving & leaving. We kids got it, Santa is a Christian too.

I love the donkey, the sheep is precious and the kings are fantastic! I agree the shepards need a whole flock.

Frankinsence (sp?) is a solid, myhrr is a liquid Smiley

Wow, thank you so much, everyone!

I love the line "in a manger lined with fun fur"!

That is right out of the original Greek translation of the Book of Matthew. It seems the Innkeeper (oh! I should add an Innkeeper!) loved to crochet.

Oh, you're so right! Sunday school flashback! I ended up with the box of gold, then last night finished a silver sort-of I Dream of Jeanie-ish, well, cookie jar with a loop for a handle, and then a red sack tied up with a silver rope. So it's believable that the cookie jar has a liquid, and the bag has a solid.

I love the story of Santa taking communion!

I love the crochet set, but my favorite is the sheep!!! I so want a flock of my own one day.. maybe I can convince the neighbors they are a different type of dog!  I think your set will be a huge hit with everyone, kids, teachers, and parents!! I know we all love it here!

I think that all looks fabulous! And as far as I'm concerned, you're right on schedule Smiley Hey, it's only the beginning of February - it's not like the rest of us don't have unfinished holiday objects. *cough* That would be me. I have unfinished holiday objects!

And can I vote for more sheep? I love how cute he is!
