I made this to welcome Francisco into the world, the adorable new baby of some good friends of mine.



It's a flying geese quilt in different shades of blue and turquoise. I liked the cheery colors! I followed a basic flying geese pattern and quilted stitch-in-the-ditch basically, except for the outer border which is radiating lines. I didn't quilt around each triangle, just up and down the green lines.  Much easier!

Triagles are easy if you use a cheaty method. This is the one I used (double half square triangles), but here's a even more clever one!
