My New Years resolution is to finally start a baking/cake business out of my home.  I am currently unhappy in my present endeavors and have decided to pursue my passion for cake decorating.  This is a recent cake I did from fondant and piped buttercream.  It was the birthday cake for a 4 year old birthday party.  The little people are fairies, but I didn't get a good picture to show off the little wings. Who says that we have to be rich, and we can't get paid for setting good examples?

That's really cute!  Great job!

On another, totally off subject note, your story reminded me of a business-how-to-bible I am currently reading and is totally changing the way I think about my business.  You should read it- it's called E-Myth Revisited.  I would recommend anyone who is starting a business to read it.
