I am IN LOVE with these shoes! Seriously AWESOME!!!
What did you use to decoupage them?
I also hate toe cleavage--awesome job fixing that!

Hee hee sorry I just re-read and saw you used mod podge...I think I am going to have to get some of that.

Okay so once again I am completely redoing my pictures. Got tired of photobucket, the only reason I used it was for here so I decided I will just use Craftster's photo uploader. So while I am switching over my photo links will be broken. Message me if there is a post you would like the pics for.

Totally fine  Smiley And I highly recommend Mod Podge, I've used it for SO many things... it's great!

Thanks for your praise, too, that's even better than Mod Podge  Grin

Next year I'll have room for a sewing machine in my SINGLE ROOM, but this year I share, so I don't.  So all I can do now is wish and plan.  And maybe use my connections to the theatre costume workshop... Cheesy

These are super incredible. Also as a fun side not, I own those shoes you used. I call them my Alice in Wonderland shoes. I've only worn them once (damn you weak ankle!!!) but I didn't really notice this toe cleavage business. I shall investigate this.

LOL, I own those shoes as well, my sister calls them the Wizard of Oz/Dorothy shoes and my cousin calls them the Alice in Wonderland shoes as well, lol.

I too haven't noticed this toe cleavage you mention but I am quite glad since I adore those shoes [the original] but you managed to make them not only mod awesome but you also got rid of toe cleavage which makes them that much cooler. I really love what you did to the hell, it breaks up all the print and I really love it.

I have a friend that works at our local newspaper, this would be a perfect gift for her! Thanks for all of the detailed pics, I'm definitely trying this out!

I love how you got rid of the toe crack (that's what I've been calling it) I can't stand it either and the newspaper idea is totally cool!

I think they were pretty cute before (I love mary jane like shoes) but they look pretty good after too.  The black ribbon was a great touch Smiley
