So I learned how to make earrings for some of my friend's Christmas presents.  One of my girls has been accepted to college in AUSTRALIA!  (We're in Canada).  10 minutes away from the beach, what does every girl need?  A sexy anklette, of course! This is my first attempt at jewelry that wasn't earrings, and I couldn't be more proud of myself!

What was so great is that we got over 30cm of snow the day I gave this to her!  I hear it's Summer on the other side of the world Cheesy

PS - the best part... I found the beads at Dollerama!

Thank you everyone for the kind words! It brings a smile to my day:) It's because of Craftster that I'm able to do all these things!  The very best part;  I have enough beads left over to make myself one! Cheesy

Snow? What's snow? Welcome to Australia my friend Wink. Your pal will soon tire of the unrelenting, sticky heat and I personally would love a white winter. Alas...

Actually our country is beautiful, our beaches beautiful and the landscape awesome. Our wildlife is outrageous and our people pleasant, our polution reasonably low (unless you live in Melbourne or Sydney  Tongue) and our schools are fabulous. Unfortunately we do not have kangaroos bouncing down the streets, we don't all live in tin sheds in the outback and we do not live on vegemite and meat pies (as some very misinformed Americans tried to convince me was the case; my husband once had someone ask him in chat if we have cities...  Undecided).

I love your anklet, and I just happen to have those beautiful little stars in the brown, aren't they just devine?! Now I must make something out of my own stash...  Grin

Speak for yourself! Tongue When I'm being lazy I live on vegemite toast- I figure it's got to be better for me than fast food, right? Right? Roll Eyes Don't worry, it doesn't happen often... lol

The anklet's really pretty. I love the colours, and the flower/star shaped beads are nice, I've not seen ones shaped like that.
