Not-A-New-Me Digital Scrapbook (img heavy)

Hi everyone! This is my first craft challenge ever and first on Craftster. Joining craft challenges was actually a resolution of mine.   I found this topic extremely difficult! I couldn't think of any one craft.

This year I got tired of always trying to reinvent myself and make "a new and better me" year after year. SO, my resolution is to get to like the current me   I wanted to explore my current abilities, challenge myself and see what I can achieve. Not to try and be better, but to just learn to be myself. My entry is a digital scrapbook of my goals, challenges and progress for the year.

All of my digital elements are either handdrawn or digital freebies, from various sites around the internet. I couldn't possibly list them all, but there is some beautiful stuff out there. At the end of the year, as my reward I will have the book printed through Shutterfly as a gift to myself!

Some of the pages I didn't fill in completely, so that I can still work on them as I complete projects. That way, this craft will keep me motivated throughout the year. I am excited already about it! And happy myself with the way it turned out already. I've never used so much color in any craft! They aren't exactly all "matchy matchy"... but I kind of had fun making them all different. Just like my year will be!

wow a great idea! it turned out really beautiful, too. i love all the little elements all over on each page. i really like the scribbly underlines and writing, too!

great idea. one christmas my mom made my sister a collage, she complained that she never changed and so my mom showed her how much she had grown and changed. great job

First,  I love the the theme. I get really fed up with the "Brand New You" magazine covers in January. I don't need a brand new me either.
Secondly, really nice layouts. I love the bird silhouettes and great color combinations.

Your resolution is awesome and your scrapbook is gorgeous.  I honestly never realized how much cool stuff you can do with digital scrapbooking!  Great job.

I love this. I didnt even make a resolution but this would of been a great one. I love the colors. Are all those backgrounds on the site? I did a digital scrapbook of my mexico pictures it was so great because I didnt have to do everything on it.

thanks everyone so much! it was so much fun to put together. i've already started on my "build something" today!

no none of the backgrounds are from Shutterfly at all, they are all digital layouts I made using only Adobe Photoshop. I upload them as individual pictures and chose the full-bleed option for each book page. The only photoshop design I used was on the cover.
