for my birthday, my aunt took me to a place called artist for a day where you can either paint your own pottery or do mosaics. since i had taken her there for her birthday and we did pottery, we decided to do mosaics on my birthday.

i made a clock! and i love it!!

clock in my dining room:

you pick out a wooden base...they have all sorts of things (clocks, mirrors, picture frames, figures of animals, cutouts of objects, even small tables and stools)...then you choose your mosaic tiles (they have a bunch of colors and kinds) and glue them on. they give you the grout to take home and do at your convenience...since i did a clock, they even gave me the clock mechanism!

let me know what you think!!

This came out great. Love the color you chose, and that it made the design in the darker shade. Smiley

Mosaics are addicting!
