This is the first shirt I've made in a long time. I used to stencil all the time but I haven't had time to craft really at all lately. It was really nice to get back into it. I made this shirt as a christmas present for my friend, but only finally heat set it and gave it to her this afternoon. I'm horrible, I know. It was made using freezer paper and fabric paint.

She loves sailor moon and got me really into it a little while back. We weren't quite as into it as before, but luckily right around the time I started the shirt she got all excited about finding some old toys and got into it again. Good timing, eh?

And the back has a little logo on the bottom corner.

The shirt is really a navy blue although it looks somewhat black in some of these pictures. There's a little bit of bleeding, not too bad. The yellow bled the worst over the white moon. The first coat of pink actually bled a bit too and I was using a darker pink for that (I changed my mind and thought it would look better lighter) but I think it actually looks kind of neat and maybe intentional.

I finally got an action shot!

Thanks guys! I still haven't gotten an action shot, but I'll ask her to take a picture next time she wears it. I know she wore it to work like 2 days after I gave it to her, so I think she liked it.

You know, I don't remember exactly where I got the stencil. I think I may have found something that I turned into that stencil on google images, but I'm not sure. You're welcome to use it if you'd like.
