Okay....the first step is admitting you have a problem. There. I said it. My resolution is to get rid of the majority of my yarn stash and knit, crochet and holy crap...whatever else I can do to make it smaller. Okay....smaller would be containing it to the ONE room. I am already making some effort into this project and have currently finished a dress for my daughter and am working on 3 adult XL sweaters, some hats, a skirt.....crap. I have A LOT of wip....but I am whipping right thru them! Take that yarn stash!

My goal is to get this out of control stash confined to one room and to donate at least 12 items to charity. So I printed out a calender, and every time I finish an item, I put a cute little sticker on that day/date. This way I can keep track of how many items I make at the end of the year as well as destash! And every time I give an item to charity - I get to color in the whole square!!
Here is the calender with some of my stickers and the markers.

This is what was formerly known as my spare bedroom. It is now the yarn emporium. They multiply like rabbits!!!

This is the tower. All of the drawers (except the bottom one) is FULL to overflowing with yarn. Plus, you can see the boxes and baskets on top and to the side of the tower.
Drawer 1 is the various wool/wool blends drawer.

Drawer 2 is the cashmere/blends drawer.

Drawer 3 is the silk/silk blend drawer.
Drawer 4 is the cotton/whatnot drawer.

Drawer 5 is also a wool/wool blend drawer. Can you tell I like my natural fibers???
This is the overflow cooler (I ran out of boxes).

Yarn basket

The workstation (also formerly known as the couch - thank goodness we have 2!!)

Large footstool storage

small footstool storage

These are my wip and (very) recently completed items!
Another cool mohawk hat

Blue silk skirt (crochet)

Pink/tan/creme sweater (almost complete - man, I love me some bulky yarn!)

And Kate's dress - finished tonight!!

Thanks and comments and whatnot always welcome!
