so thanks to e.r.i.k.a.'s amazing lined zippered pouch tute, I got off of my booty and got to stashbusting...

i haven't sewn since about 5th grade, but i recently found a 70s Singer Fashion Mate machine at a garage sale for all of 5 bucks. so i finally quit procrastinating and sat for a while and fought with it and these were the result!!!

all of the fabric I used I found at various thrift stores and have been hoarding it forever- it felt good to put it to use!

i love them but i fear its like that unconditional love you have for your own child... ha ha!  i would LOVE any comments/criticism! Thanks for looking!

sorry if the pics are huge! photobucket and I are working out our differences...

You have me laughing about the "unconditional love for your child" bit. LOL!

I love the pouches! They are adorable. I think the creamy one with the green & blue flowers is my favorite. Great job!

They are so cute, in fact if these were children then these would be the golden children!!

Sometimes you do just need a second opinion, I completely understand!!

These are great hun....which tutorial did you use for the inspiration for your golden children?!?  My daughter wants me to make some of these, so if you can make them whilst fighting with a 70's machine, I should be able to manage making some on my recent model machine hey?  (Here's hoping anyway!)  Also, love where you hung the wristlets to take the pics, I've always struggled with what to hang bags etc on to take pics, so all my stash piles don't show in the background! (I'm a bit of a pack rat, but am slowly getting over that *grins*)

Hugs
