Smiley  Cheesy  Grin This swap gallery is intended as a way to recognize all the wonderful personal swaps that are done in this community!   Grin  Cheesy  Smiley

Personal swaps are not encouraged or supported by Craftster.  This is only a thread to post pictures from your personal experiences.  Personal swaps are not and cannot be tracked in Swap Feedback on profiles and should not be linked to Craftster's Organized Swaps in any way.

Folks who have participated in a personal swap and wish to share pictures of the items they have sent and received may do so by posting in this gallery.

Please note that this gallery is meant for those who have had a good experience with their personal swaps!  This is not the place to air your grievances about being "flaked" on...please keep it positive and give love to those awesome personal swappers! Wink

Each month a new gallery will be started.  If you have received from a personal/private swap, within the month, feel free to post pictures here!   Grin

Or browse previous galleries...

Here's some lovely goodies I received from KBauer

Actual photographic evidence of Dove chocolate not completely eaten yet!

Closeup of the flying geese washcloth she made me!  Cool

She & I met (online) on last year's 50+ Washcloths KAL (which has now spilled over into 2008's Great Knitted Washcloth along, courtesy of WitchCatXeen).  We did a little swapping of goodies last summer and have continued to do so this year.  (I didn't know there was a board for Personal swaps Huh Undecided  otherwise I would have posted piccys of last year's goodies too!)

KBauer,  you rawk! \m/  Grin

You rawk too! \m/

That pillow in the background looks a LOT like the needle book you made me!

I don't have any piccy's...but the awesome Gizmonic made me a bookmark with a shrinky dink that says Yarn Geek, a green felt needle book, the most AWESOME Sugar 'n Creme Stripes yarn that has found its purpose as a waffle dishcloth, and various other goodies...chocolate & tea of course...we always send each other dark chocolate & tea!

I loved swapping with you Giz! When are we gonna do it again? Wink

Have old jeans, pillowcases, or t-shirts? I'll take them! I'm also always looking for the sleeves to women's long sleeved shirts!

Hi! I have a question:
If you did a personal swap with someone a month or two ago, but didn't get around to posting it, do you usually go back and post it in that month's gallery or post it in the current gallery?

There are no rules to this (just fun, pictures & thanks!), so do whatever you'd like.  It's totally okay with me either way. Smiley

"Hunger":

"Let them Fall":

And the best...Spelled out in sign language, "Still much to craft there is."   Cheesy

Here is the stuff I got from a great personal swap with Rubytuesday. It was my first time shipping internationally (and it went to Oxford, England). This was my first personal swap and it was a great experience! We each sent a few things about our area too. She sent some great leaflets about some beautiful places and a section of her local newspaper. I got 2 beautiful microscope pendents one with an Irish stamp on one side and a Finnish stamp on the other. The other has a great stamp with midevil imagery and a wonderful decorative paper on the back. I also got a black knitted face cloth out of super soft yarn and a magnet that says Oxford with a gargoyle on it.
Here is all the loot together! ( sorry so bright it is actually very sunny today)

Close up of both pendents on one side

The other side of the pendents (sorry these pics are a bit blurry it is hard to photograph glass stuff because of glare)

Thanks Rubytuesday!!!!!
