Okay, so I made a ''long'' wallet.  I used an old dress shirt of my husband's and an old sheet for the inside fabric.  I used the shirt material and quilted the outside fabric.  There is a zipper pocket with two pockets behind it for cash, receipts and my pocket calender.  Smiley  I made six card compartments.  I could've made a pocket behind this part but I decided the wallet would be sturdier without it nor did I really need the extra pocket.  All in all I'm pretty happy with it...I just realized afterwards that I should've made my closure flap longer.  I used a magnetic snap btw.

That fabric makes a great wallet.  Your zipper looks perfect.  It's great that you could customize the wallet just for you.  I like it.

That is a lovely wallet! Smiley I cannot sew but I LOVE purses/totes/handbags/makeup bags/wallets, so I am here in this forum to admire everyone's work. Wink
