I didnít know where to post this request - I hope this will do it.

I've been invited to a Mardi Gras party and the invitations were sent a month early so we would "have time to get a costume (required) together." I'm reading into this that the costumes will probably be pretty elaborate.
For reasons too involved to post here I need to really have a good one for this. I'm thinking along the lines of Carnivale di Venezia or Comedia del Atre - really over the top. I have a beautiful mask my sister brought from Venice this summer but it's a man's mask, but at least I can use it for inspiration.
I have one idea so far - bubble wrap - and if I can ever figure out how to upload a picture here I will post the one I found that inspired it. But I was thinking that if I was going to find a really great idea for a costume that will blow people's minds, it's to the craftsters I must turn! I still have about three weeks (as of January 13) so any ideas would be greatly appreciated! I'm going to try to start sometime this weekend, but I'll probably procrastinate till the weekend before the party.[/color]
