Does anyone know of some good reputable charity organizations that accept donations via paypal? I'm not looking for anything particular so it can be anything from animal rescues to cancer research.

Just doing some research.

Thanks in advance.

There is an organization called Scares That Care, that accepts paypal donations. They are organization that is utilizing the fan base of the horror, haunt and Halloween genres to raise funds and awareness for sick children in need. They are currently raising funds to help the children of John's Hopkins Children's Cancer Center.

More info can be found on their website

Thank you Dayzi.

I want to allow customers to donate a portion of their purchase to a charity of their choice, from a list that I have gathered.  Wink

PS: Love your Boston! They are such cute little buggers.

The Strive For Life Foundation accepts donations via PayPal.  This cause is very dear to me.  The charity was founded by one of my closest friends and I am a board member.  It is a 501(c)3 registered charity (so donations are tax deductible)  and was founded to help provide aid and change the lives of Romanian street children and orphans.
I will be going to Romania this July to work with the children, and we are right now in the process of working on starting up our own camp outside of Bucharest.

We welcome donations of all kinds - monetary, needed items, crafts for a charity auction, etc.

Here are two organizations (registered nonprofits) that I know the founders personally and can vouch for them. They are also really small, so they need anything they can get:

http://autistics.org/ for Autistic people's Rights.
Their library and some of the founding members' personal sites are very useful for understanding more about Autistic ways of Human existence.

http://www.stfrancisanimalrescue.org/ my friend's No-Kill cat shelter.
Sorry, we have not finished the website yet, but the link works so that you can donate to:
