It's a calorimetry!! I practiced and it took me two times frogging it to get it right. I used red heart acrylic yarn as I didn't want to ruin good yarn trying to learn to knit. But I do love the colors! Lemme know what you think. Good or bad cause I really need the help here lol.

Ok so yeah, I look craptastic but I was freakin tired!

The upper part

And the back

Edited because I'm touched and didn't use img links lol.

Yup I tried and tried it took me quite a few times to get it but with the help of knittinghelp.com and youtube (they have awesome tutes) I got it! I can't get the instructions for knitting from a book I tried. I am more of a hands on learner so when I found the videos it was all uphill from there.

I think it is time to get out the good yarn.  You know what you are doing.  I can't wait to see what else you come up with!

You did such a good job, I've been knitting for a while now and I still can't figure out the calorimetry pattern.

Thank you all so so much!! This was one of my resolutions! I have been working on some different stitches I made some washcloths out of peaches n' cream. One of my other resolutions was to make something for everyone for Christmas as I am a sahm again. My dh is always trying to get me to get a booth at the farmers market we have downtown. When he saw the washcloths he says start making more we'll get that booth! I'll post them when I get my rechargeable batteries back. The dh took them to go play ps2 with my nephew lol.

Wow, this is a great first completed project! I'm so impressed. Most people just start with a scarf!
