GEEZ this time of year really stretches my crafty skills to the limit. first Christmas, then it's my sister AND my boyfriends birthday (same day) my bff's birthday, mine and my boyfriends anniversary and then valentines day!

This year we're going on a cruise to Mexico with my family from the 5th - 15th, so I had to make sure i finished my valentines presents early.

I was largely inspired by those accordion scrapbooks you see inside metal AOL tins - but of course I couldn't find one.

Each page is "themed" after a different love song, and theres a place in the back for a CD i made of all the songs.

here goes!

i used a martha stewart shadow box to put it all in, instead of a metal tin. i feel like the front could be fancier.

this is what you see when you open it up! the lyrics on the left are from ben fold's "the luckiest" and on the right theres a CD sleeve.

all the pages stretched out on one side.

we are an incredibly attractive couple, i know.

yay!

thanks for looking! i'm no scrapbook expert, this is really my first major project. it was fun to do though!!

It's nice! I especially like that there's CD sleeve... Cheesy ... and the colours are so cheerful!
By the way, it would be good rainbow craft for January in the 2008 Color Craft-A-Long (link in my signature.) It's real fun, this craftalong, so I thought you could participate. Smiley

This is such a great idea. I love that you put a cd in with all the songs. I think it looks great. I wish I thought of it.
