For my boyfriends birthday on Jan 6th, I made this journal from scratch! It's supposed to help him be motivated and inspired to write all kinds of amazing lyrics for his amazing songs, cuz thats what he likes to do. I filled it will all kinds of lyrics that we both like. I also used an old t-shirt of mine for the cover. This journal coust me exactly NOTHING to make - sweet!

thats my hand, for size reference

i know it's super vain, but i'm in love with my own handwriting.  Embarrassed

it's left handed - because he is left handed!

the whole cover.

it was super easy and very satisfying. he LOVED it, now the only problem is he says he's afraid to take it anywhere because he doesn't want to loose it! opps!

thanks!!

wow that's great!
and it made me want to make one for my boyfriend too, he's a struggling musician who writes most of the songs in his band

Okay so I'm an echo, but you really do have great handwritting. I love the guitars. That's what caught my eye first.

Cool  song writing journal.
I know this isn't so important, but my  younger sister was also born in Jan. 6...
By the way, your handwriting is super AMAZING!!!! Grin

Your handwriting is most definitely noticeable.
The book is quite well made. I've been thinking about making my friend a sketchbook but I'm still trying to figure out the details.
I love the cover!
I think I would be afraid to write in it, in case I 'ruined' it.
