Cute dress, and your little boy is a doll! I have a silly question though, on these dresses, how does the underneath part close in the front? Does it tie also? If so, cant you see it under the outer layer?

Love the dress!  It is so cute (your son is a cutie too!).  I'll have to look up that pattern.  It looks like it would be so comfy for summer.  Great Job!

I love this pattern!! I've just finished my first Anna dress and it was less painful that I had imagined it would be - I am a TOTAL novice!! I love the Valentine fabric!! And your son's a real cutie and so helpful to agree to model the finished dress. I like the idea of the ties at the shoulder.

i wondered that too - i don't know how the "real" pattern works, i made mine tie just like the back, but it really doesn't show.  the front hangs quite nicely (when the pocket isn't full of matchbox cars, that is)

Will swap for baby food jars (or other small jars with lids)

Yep, the back is just like the front. It ties first, in front, then the front of the dress ties in back.

How did I miss this one? must have fell asleep. Prince Charming in a dress. How adorable is that.  Cheesy You did great. Looks just like the real thing. I'm gonna have to try this out. What was the shape of the pattern? Like a diamond with the top and bottom cut off?

Can make dresses for your princess!
