I can't wait to see posts of more fairy homes!!! My mom had a crystal in her kitchen window and when the sun hit it it would spray disco ball'ish orbs of light all over and my mom would bump the crystal to make it look like they were flying everywhere. She would then call my daughters in and get them all excited that fairies were flying everywhere! So everyday my girls where looking forward to the "kitchen fairies". Yeah, they think grammas house is cool because she has fairies there.

that's so awesome...instillin g a love of nature and wonder about life is so precious and hopefully your daughters won't become jaded because they've had a great start...

My mom used to take me into the woods for walks and she always used to build me giant Big Bird nests (like from Sesame Street). She taught me how to gather found objects and appreciate art in nature, and now I still wildcraft for projects even if they never get done and I just end up with random bits of moss, sticks, pieces of dried birch bark, and dried mushrooms all throughout the house...

so really, I LIVE in a fairy house! XD

Ahhh! I would LOVE to see it! When I was younger I wanted Tinkerbells (Julia Roberts as Tink in the movie Hook) Room! I loved her little nook! I was around trees and nature during the first little while of my life. As I got older it was few and far between because my dad was in the service. My other siblings were raised in the city and they think that camping is supposed to be either in a trailer or at a KOA. They also need running water. My idea of running water is camping next to a river! Needless to say, they are more worried about boys, cars, text messaging and baby phat handbags. They have no appreciation for the beautiful things and it makes me sad to see what they are missing out on. One day it won't be here anymore because it will all be turned into cities or neighborhoods. Don't get me wrong, I love baby phat handbags and texting as much as the next girl, but if I had to choose, I wouldn't have purses or cell phones! That's for sure!

I hear ya...I always think, in this society, I like having my cell and computer and stuff...but I could certainly live on a commune or something if I had everything I needed to do so!!! XD

Last year was my very first garden, I plan to have a bigger one this year, so I have to start planting "starters" now! I also will become a gardner to the faeries!
