My sister is having a baby in February, and this is the only thing I've managed to finish! I'd better get knitting  Grin I'm also planning on making the 1-hr baby booties from S'nB Nation.
The pattern is from Plassard, it's a simple bottom up cardi in garter stitch. The yarn is Cascade Pearls. I loved knitting it, it's so much faster than adult sweaters! The buttons are super-cool, too! I got them at LYS, they're Fimo!

Very nice!  Baby sweaters are really gratifying, aren't they? You don't have time to get bored before you're done.

Is the yarn washable?

Very cute--my friends with kids always appreciate non-pastel baby clothes!

I love that yarn--I've never come across it before.  Did you like working with it?

lisascenic: no, the yarn's not washable, but she's ok w/ it (it's her first kid Wink ) The other stuff I'm making her is all washable, tho.

emling: I found the yarn at one of my LYS's, and fell in love with it. I'd never seen it before, so of course I wanted to work with it! I really liked knitting with it. It knits up really easily, and has a really nice hand. I reccommend it!
