These are amazing! Especially the Bob Ross one, as many others have said. I used to love watching all the how-to shows on Saturday mornings when I was a kid. I was totally fascinated by people painting pictures and building furniture and fixing up old houses. Still am! What a fabulous idea and a great tribute to the folks who influenced you. So cool Smiley

I concur, Your Excellency.  Lovely work.  I still look at trees and clouds in the distance, and think of them as "happy"!  I loved the Jacques Cousteau specials on TV - they made the oceans seem like magical places, which I'd never considered before.  Shel Silverstein I never read until I was an adult, but it was a copy of "The Giving Tree", which I picked up at Ye Olde Thrifte Shoppe, and loved to bits.  I've read it to my kids so many times, now.  I love the whimsy and technical quality of these little patches - thanks for sharing them with us!

LOVE it!  And who doesn't love the message of these awsome people...do what you love!  It shows in thier work, in your work, and I hope in mine.  Yeah!

One of my all time favorite books is the Giving Tree.  What a message!  Whenever I read it, it melts my heart

I am so completing a similar series of childhood heroes portraiture! AWESOME IDEA!

And, on a side note, is Crystal Gayle every little girl's hero?
