I love, love these.  They almost made me cry - they capture the subjects so perfectly.  I'd almost forgotten about Shel - thank you for making these.  Smiley

I am FLOORED! I hope that these happy little embroideries go down in Craftster history and lore for as long as the internet is around.  Grin

oh my goodness, thank you guys all sooo much for all the comments!! I'm so happy I could share my little tribute with you all.  Cheesy I should have known you'd all relate to my oddness, and obviously healthy diet of PBS. Smiley
you guys all make my day.

I was going on and on about this today to my kids! Both the stitchery and the heroes. Then I had a senior crafty moment when my 19yo daughter pointed out that YOU are the genius behind Doodle Stitchery!! My copy is on back-order from Amazon and I can't wait.
THANK YOU for all the inspiration!

These are some of the neatest things I've seen on here! I wanted to make everyone's gifts next year, and you've given me some awesome inspiration. Shel is one of my favorite authors, its what I read to my girls everyday... I don't think you were a weird kiddo at all Wink

Wonderful job on all of them, but I must admit that I'm partial to Shel Silverstein. I still have all of his books!
