1) it doesn't sound like you're odd, it sounds like, much as I was, you were raised by hippies! Cheesy

and 2) I was about to ask you if you had been influenced by the very book I have about six feet away from me right this very moment called "Doodle Stitchery". Then I paused half a mo' and checked your profile.

Doh!

Just to let you know, I adore this book and have my daughter peruse it as well (she's 10) in order to encourage her to stitch as well. Of all the books in Barnes and Noble on stitchery, this is the one I chose as my very first. Smiley

So, thank you. Smiley It's a 'happy little book' and I love it.

This is great! I love Shel Silverstein and Bob Ross! This is such a cool gift idea too. The details are fantastic, great work!

Wow.  That took me back!  Not just the Shel Silverstein, whose book ("Where the Sidewalk Ends")  I received as a present at age 8 and haven't forgotten since, but also Crystal Gayle!  I had long long long hair when I was a child and people were always comparing it to hers!

I guess I must have been an odd child, too, because I am so in love with this.  Fantastic work!  Bob Ross is my hero.

Debbies only get respect in the knitting world.  How unfair is that?

Because Poe wrote on both of them.

Anyone up for a Jasper Fforde swap?
