i don't know how i got so far behind again! there's just too much awesomeness in this gallery!
OY, i think i already commented on yours, but again, LOVE the layers and the stitching! it's just so damn cool!
wow heini! i LOVE the bright colours! that's gorgeous!
colorfuldayz, that's gorgeous! i've said it before, but i really really love the ink work you do on your pages, it's so awesome. i so wish i could do it! the beads are gorgeous too!
OY, the tulle and the hem lace are so awesome! i love all the layering you've been doing.
lisateacher, i love the hair ad, and i love the danglies, but i REALLY love how glossy her hair is! what did you use to do that? it's so perfect! what are the danglies? they look like shrink plastic!
and i already raved about racky's page!
i received a great page from LGD today!
the frog is this very cool handmade green paper, it's all textured and awesome! i LOVE the use of the cocktail fruit thingy as the throat, damn, so clever! (it arrived folded over, and then there is a little purple tag that slides over to hold it open!) it's a funny coincidence, because i have a ridiculous love of those straws (my ex eventually banned me from buying anymore, because they were taking over the kitchen shelf!).
the back is more pretty paper, with a small envelope glued on. inside the envelope is a tag that states "#3681 fact: the bell frog is most creative when his threat swells orange. CD field guide to crafty occurances 2008" i love the little envelope!
she sent me a note, explaining how to open up the frog's throat (which is good, cause i'm having a dopey day, and i didn't even realize it was frog until i turned the page right side up!), and said that the page was meant to feel like it came "from an environmental field book full of discoveries of the natural world". very cool! i love the little details!
thanks so much LGD!
