Here is my CREATIVE LIFE book!  I got the covers finished this afternoon.

The covers are made of canvas board, SUPER thick and sturdy. I enlisted the energy of my 2 greatest creative masterpieces for the cover: I painted wooden 'hands' and stamped my kids handprints on them with ink!  L side is son, R is daughter.

I have attached a bunch of handmade charms to the front ring and a clip on the top.  So fun!

More pics in my flickr.

I can't wait to add a few more pages!

A couple of days gone and I am totally out of the loop!

OY, your book is looking wonderfully fun and funky.
Beautiful bird, LisaTeacher.
Babs, your's just get more and more cool. One of the things I love about Craftsters after having been here a while is having the opportunity to watch how a person's style can grow and evolve. It isn't often that people get the opportunity to watch an artist grow.
Adore the Mickey page, and love how the tag is worked in. I may be inspired to do my own adaption of that at some point!

Oh I love your book OY!!  The cover is beautiful, I hadn't really thought about a cover since I was only using one ring, but maybe I should....The handprints are awesome.

Thanks for the comments on the Mickey page.  We were at Disney for spring break, and for the first time I really understood all that Walt Disney did for the world of animation and illustration with his little mouse  Smiley.  Amazing.  They have so many new attractions focused on that, we loved it!!

Mine are going to be a wallhanging, and I'm planning on punching the holes with my crop-o-dile - It goes through 300gsm mountboard like butter Cheesy

OY - those covers are gorgeous!  Love the handprints.

Great idea!  I couldn't get the holes to punch in mine. I'll try that today.  I want my book to be together to motivate me!
