I have been trying to figure out which  chunky page I sent to LGD. Nice note-taking there minouette  Undecided though it did give me a reason to look through all the galleries again. I think, since I was concerned about including any feathers due to Australian Customs that I thought I'd use paper for feathery tentacles:

Block printed jellyfish, collage, embroidery floss, glass beads.

Because my creative life involves sea creatures, ephemera, scientific illustration, printmaking and so for. Jellyfish inspired by Ernst Haeckel's famous 19th century illustrations in "Artforms in Nature"

Thanks EVERYONE (especially our fearless leader Katxena) for a great swap. One of these days I'll make a book and post a link so you can see. Smiley

Great job everyone!

Has anyone else bound their pages yet?  Do you have any more pictures of books or hangings to share?

I put some photos of my book on my blog: http://craftycuriosities.blogspot.com/2008/06/latest-chunky-page.html

Any chance for a round two?  This was one of my favorite swaps!

I don't think I am going to host a round two, but anyone else is welcome to do so.

I would recommend NOT organizing it the way this one was, with a large group and sends every two weeks.  I think it would be better to organize it like most of the ATC swaps here - have people send one page to a small number of partners (3 to 5) once or twice, then restart another round.

This swap was really great because we got to swap with so many different people, but hosting it was a challenge.

I love your book GougeAway!  The rings you used look a little unusual, sort of gray and matte rather than silver and shiny - is that correct?  I'd be interested in rings like that.

Thanks!!  Yes - they're a matte finish.  They really went with the theme of the book.  I have some extras if you'd like one for your book, katxena, just jot me a pm!
