The box..  FUN STUFF HUH?!?!  Smiley   Grin   Cheesy  It's from Loop.etsy  Steph is fantastic and we've had a running order for like a month..  she'd be working on something for me, then I'd add to it.. and add again...  LOL!!  I think this is more than a couple of pounds of fiber!!  I took photos of the individual batts because they are so fantastic!!

Oooh, everyone's yarns look lovely!   Cheesy

I especially like the coil-ey bits in Taste the Rainbow.

Here are a few that I've done recently...

Electric Goldfish is some super bulky merino in very loud colours that are more exciting in real life than in the photo.  I gave it to me friend and she's knitted a hat that I haven't seen yet.  Very excited about seeing the first thing that someone else has made with my yarn!

This is Green Man, which is a merino and silk blend from Wingham Wool Work.  I've got two skeins of it but haven't got in the habit of measuring and weighing all the things that I spin yet!

This is Grapevine, which is lovely super soft merino and I spun tons of it so I'm going to knit two scarves and give one to my Mum.

This one is a merino yarn called Ape of Death because when my boyfriend saw the brown fibre I used for it he thought it looked like the fur on the Ape of Death from an episode of the Mighty Boosh.

He's the Ape of Death and he don't care, cos he's the monkey with the lover-ly hair...

The last one is called Mermaid's merkin and I really tried to think of a different name in case that offended anyone but I couldn't!  Anyway, it's merino with some green silk that I dyed ages ago and I was really pleased with how it came out!

Haven't got a picture of it as a skein so here it is on the bobbin...

and here it is knitted into a scarf!

Can you tell that my knitting skills aren't very well developed?!   Roll Eyes  I can only do scarves!

That's it!  Can't wait to see some more yarns!   Grin

I spun a bunch this week, and I'm too lazy to post photos & descriptions of everything...so here's a mosaic! If you click on it, it takes you to the flickr photo page where there are links to the individual photos & descriptions.

I'm a big fan of Glass Bottom Boat, Tiny Dancer, Box of Chocolate, and I'm really super jealous of that gigantic box of Loop batts.

Wow .. these are all beautiful! I have not spun anything besides a little bit of natural Shetland that I got when I bought my drop spindle a few weeks ago. Definitely not an expert yet ... I barely even know how to knit but these beautiful yarns are so enticing! I am scared to even start!

Lovely!
Oh, and that stash set on Flickr is amazing! Is that all yours or did I get that wrong? Wow! Should make everybody jealous. And my BF thinks spinning is for grandmothers (or just very old people)  Lips sealed

Oh man, I love Electric Goldfish! And those loop batts are just to die for.

I only have one photographed yarn this week. It's from my first drum carded batts, and I am so excited because I just ordered a Louet Roving Carder. Can't wait to throw all my bits n pieces into it and come out with some crazy yarns!

There is a bit of everything in this yarn, including novelty snippets, various wools, mohair, firestar, silk, hemp...anything that was sitting in my fiber stash, really!

And I'm really excited about this. It's a very long (over 7 feet!) scarf that I knitted with two different handspun yarns.

The black fuzzy trim is a Suss yarn, but the green is yarn spun from one of Loop's Mediterranean batts, with little mother of pearl beads included. The white yarn is an undyed merino that I spun with felted bobbles and big nubs, also from a Loop batt. (So much Loop love in this thread!)
