Do not believe this!! I got jrsloane1's package today and OMG, I am so excited -- she knitted me the most awesome army green tote with brown lining; I absolutely LOVE it! She embroidered an amazing bookmark for me with a character from one of my favorite illustrators on it. Also, I received "The Red Tent," which I have been wanting to read for quite some time, as well as another book that looks really interesting (not in front of me & can't remember the title right now). I promise to post pictures soon! Thank you SO MUCH Jen; I know you must've put a ton of effort into my tote & bookmark, and I adore both of them! Smiley

See? I told you it was really good. Jen Sloane, you're such a fool. I can't wait to see pictures of the finished product!

Also, Shawn thinks the bag you made was really cool and he just said "Seriously, how did you make it look like that? Every time I see knitting that's not stockinette or ribbing I'm like- How does that work? I'm even confused by Danica."

BTW, that's all from a man who doesn't knit. He's learned so much!
(Of course, so have I.... I know all about football now. haha) Grin Grin

Everyone's stuff is soooo good on this swap it's CA-Raaazy!

So many people received all at once! lol Everything is looking fabulous!  Grin <3's~ I too received today. *___*

The most awsome package came from my dear partner Lindsay aka  celestialxxdreams. <3's~ She sent me a big tote done in an earth/water theme with my fav colors blue and green! It's sooooo pretty. She even trimed it in outdoorsy ribbon. The ribbons have sunflowers and fern leafs. The front has a nice big pocket that I can stick my library card in, and the pocket and bag are both lined in this super pretty rainbow striped fabric! <33  Grin Grin Grin It's totally me.~ She made me 2 book thongs with blue and green beads to go with the 2 books she sent me! The books are Tale of Genji which I've been wanting to read for forever and the second one was by her favorite author Jodi Picoult. It's called The Tenth Circle. It sounds like my kind of book too so I'm excited to read it.  Grin I'm having a hard time deciding which I'll read first! I told Lindsay I would post pics once I could get my hands on my cousins camera as I lack one at the moment. Once I get them though I shall post them here. <33 Or if she has pics she would like to post that's fine too.  Grin Thanks again for the -amazing- package!  Grin Grin Grin <3's~

Here is the awsome bag and books Calsters sent me-

***Photo is sideways because Photobucket REFUSES to flip it the correct way***
It has a super long strap and the fabric is really cute city sidewalk/mainstreet print.  Lined with a maroon and white flowers.

West Side Story and Wizards First Rule.  I love the movie and play, but never read the book, now I can!  And I've looke dat Wizards first rule, but never picked it up.  The bookmark says "Thinking of you".  Thanks Calsters!  Thanks Astica for organizing!

This is what I sent Calsters (She said she'd post pics, but the weather has been bad up north.  SO I figured I'd post a pic til she can get good pics)

FicklePegasus and Calsters, nice book bags! I really like the city scene fabric, and the purple sets it off nicely. The crocheted bag is fantastic too! I like both of the bookmarks, too- but it's funny, because it looks like you should trade so the bookmark matches your bag Wink

I read The Thief Lord and really enjoyed it (not sure about the ending, though) and I didn't realize West Side Story was a book- did it come before the musical and movie?

sweet tote bag. she did some snooping and figured out i love octopodes.  Cheesy

the lining...

two books. i actually almost bought "the glass castle" last week. good thing i waited! the other book is "twighlight." i dont think you can see the title in the pic. i think its about vampires, which i love books about.

two bookmarks. the orange one is Alice and the Chesire Cat. The black is an octopus attacking a ship, which is just amazing.

thank you so much Jenn! I love everything! BTW, i've already got all my knitting stuff into the tote and its perfect!
