NEW: I got a sewing machine for Christmas (my bf rocks) but the thing is, it’s my first so I have nothing: I need thread, fabric and whatever else you need to seriously start sewing (patterns welcome too). So absolutely everything is welcome.  Thanks dontlookback, more is welcome.

NEW: My bf needs caps and bandanas (in boyish colors) for his head. He just underwent chemo for leukemia. He just got a whole bunch of those plus I love his bald head.

now about me:

i am a 25 year old mother of 3 and married to a big child (31 going on 5). i live in a tiny little dot on the map clgate, saskatchewan canada. i'm closer to the us border than any large city in my own country. i am a stay at home mom (with 3 under 5 i have to) i have crafting ADD . . . i have a new obsesion weekly it seems. i have sewn since i was kid (granny taught me) i also crochet (the other granny taught me as a kiddo) i recently learned to knit and then promptly cheated and bought a knitting machine. i dye yarn on occasion, i can cross stitch (havn't in years though), i've dabbled in scrapbooking, and stamping, and card making, and paper quilting, embroidery (hand and machine), needle felting, stained glass, jewlery making, see where the ADD kicks in lol. these days i mostly crochet or sew. i am really wanting to learn spinning (my husband is thrilled about that *rolls eyes*)

*GINORMOUS BIG WISH* my purse/bag is starting to crap out on me and i just don't have the patience to make a new one at the moment. not overly picky except for size. it needs to fit a couple of diapers, mini wipe case, baby sleeper, wallet, keys, phone and zipper not a necessity thanks la_chrystelle for taking this on!

NEW: I got a sewing machine for Christmas (my bf rocks) but the thing is, it’s my first so I have nothing: I need thread, fabric and whatever else you need to seriously start sewing (patterns welcome too). So absolutely everything is welcome.  Thanks dontlookback, more is welcome.
My goal is to make a dress for myself for a friend’s wedding in July.

NEW: My bf needs caps and bandanas (in boyish colors) for his head. He just underwent chemo for leukemia. He just got a whole bunch of those plus I love his bald head.
On that subject, I would really like to remind all of you to donate blood as well as platelets (leukemia patients need a lot of transfusions), also for those of you who have considered donating organs, please consider getting yourself on the bone marrow donor registry (http://www.marrow.org/HELP/Join_the_Donor_Registry/index.html). My bf is lucky enough that both his brothers are a match but other patients need the help of strangers. Thank you.
