I claim crossStitchinMamma for
1. The amigurumi butterfly girl shown here - http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=206251.msg2202969;topicseen#msg2202969

2. A wipe off rewards chart that is maybe magnetic too so I can reward my son for good behavior/ potty training.

This is my 1 claim, 0 sent, 0 received in round 31

I'm 31 years old, I'm a stay at home mom of two.  I love making gifts for people instead of buying them (even though they usually turn out to be more expensive) and most of my crafty items are given away as presents so I don't have many of my own and would love to start getting crafty items from others!  In general I don't like bright colors, neon and such.  My house is pretty neutral shades of green, brown, tan, blue.  I am pretty simple...I only wear my wedding ring as jewelry and I can only wear gold earrings which I don't like very much (white gold is good but expensive ) so I usually don't even wear earrings.

1.  I like anything small....miniature anything makes me smile.

2.  Safety eyes for stuffies.  I can't seem to find them around me.

3.  Wall art- any medium I just love original stuff.  When I was about 7 I made a promise to myself never to hang anything on my walls that I could go into someone else's house and see.  Which is why my wall are basically bare.  Who has time to make everything!  But, anything framed or on canvas is wonderful.  My craft room is Brown and light brown, with dark red and white accents.

4.  handmade cards.  I love sending cards.

5.  mosaics....  Love mosaics.  They don't have to glass or ceramic or very large.  Paper, polymer clay, pebbles...small stuff like this....
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=204357.0

7.  This book http://global.yesasia.com/en/PrdDept.aspx/code-j/section-books/pid-1004536033/  incase link didn't work it is a Japanese book Crochet Motif Item

8.  Make your own stamp starter kit.  It doesn't have to be a store bought kit, just a couple supplies and a note or two on how to start.

9.  29" circular knitting needles.  I'm not sure what size, any size really just to begin practicing...

10. Needlepoint/cross stitch fabric - white or off white, preferably a smaller size psi  14 or 18 or 22

Anything that you are great at or love doing.  My kids would be very excited to receive a gift also, so if you are interested in making them something that would be excellent.  My son (4) is a Thomas the train FREAK. He also likes pirates and cars.  My daughter is 6 and she is a girly girl/karate kid.  Make sense?  She LOVES karate and has completed several belt ranks already, but in a heart beat she puts on pretty dresses and LOVES jewelry and hair accessories.  PM me for belt color or fav. colors...they both change all the time.

Thank you in advance for all your time and work!  Any gift is received with great love.

I claim summertimerolls for some wall art.  I have a project in mind that I've been looking for an excuse to try.

This my second claim, 0 sent, 0 received.  (And I'm in North Dakota)

In no particular order:

Big wish (I guess I lied about the no order thing): My current handbag is tearing so Im in the market for a new one that is more interesting than the selection at the local department stores.  Id like one thats smallish with a strap long enough so I could put it over my shoulder and have the bag tuck under my bicep, if that makes sense.  Im really open to different styles (except I dont like the slouchy, sling-looking ones).  Forgive the lack of correct terminology.  I can snoop around for examples or feel free to pm me for more specifics.

Id love a microscope slide pendant, or really any unique pendant necklace (gold looks terrible against my skin, so Id prefer silver connectors).  I wear predominantly button down shirts, so if theres a chain, I'd like the length to be between 14 and 16" or else no one will be able to see it.  I'm not picky about style, though I prefer chunky to delicate, especially because Im pretty rough on jewelry.  Im in love with the ones Ive seen that involve text, especially.

Unique art for my office walls I dont like to make art for myself, just for other people.  Something square or rectangular would be ideal since everything else is squared off and right angled, and I think a round anomaly would bug me.  Im also not big on cutesy things, with the exception of bunnies.

My husband and I just got some nice tables for the living room, so we could use some coasters to prevent them from getting screwed up.  I really like the resin ones (we had knit ones, but they became blankets for my stepsons dinosaurs  Roll Eyes).

I'm trying to give up using plastic bags, so I'd love to receive reusable grocery bags.  I plan on learning how to sew them myself (well, to sew period), but I'm a tactile learner and it would be great to have something to use as an example.

Id love something based on the character of Prickle from Gumby.  I hate Gumby, but Prickle (the yellow dinosaur guy) has special significance for me and my husband. Thanks, la_chrystelle!

Something based on The Little Prince (the book, not the show) would be great also.  Really anything.

I'm into animals that defy logic (the platypus, the kiwi, the narwhal), so anything crafted on one of those themes would be great.

Handmade note cards based on various song lyrics (if chosen, Id link my claimer to my last.fm profile for my top artists).  I received some lovely ones from Lunanne in round 30, but Id love some more.

Something made from old typewriter keys.

One of my goals this year is to start embroidering.  I know nothing, have nothing, so anything that could help me realize this goal would be much appreciated.

A surprise whatever you feel like youre best at or what youd most like to make, Id love to see, especially if it pertains to my interests listed below.  Im really open to most anything.

Im a mid-20s English teacher in North Dakota.  I prefer offbeat to traditional, drab to bright, dark to light, severe to rounded.  I dislike warm colors (especially pinks, reds, yellows) and jewel tones, flowers, anime-style, and most things that can be described with the repeated consonant + y equation (silly, frilly, etc.).  I like the way that words look (especially from a typewriter), Scrabble and crossword puzzles, trains, urban exploration, 1950s propaganda, subcultures, monsters, coffee, greens (that arent grass or forest), blues (that arent bright or navy), lots of things, really.

I can always get more specific as necessary just ask!

Some black and white photographs of old English churches or houses (preferably the ones made of stone or houses with thatched roofs). I know this one is a long shot but I can dream! Just so you get an idea Id like them all to be relatively uniform because I want a set of 3 to 5 to put in a photograph cluster on my wall. Here are a few examples:

Misc. Wish List -

Some Rubbermaid (or similar plastic) containers to store my knitting/crafty stuff in.

SUPER WISH! Some 3M Brushed Nickel Command hooks that are the size that hold coats. One would be great to start out but I'll ideally need 3 total.

A DIY beginner yarn dying kit. A yarn dying how to book would be great too. I love all of these hand dyed yarns that are so beautiful and I'd love to give it a try!

BIG WISH!!! Wallflowers (refills or starter kits) from Bath & Body Works - Any scent is good but just not Fig, Cinnamon or anything spicy or musky smelling. I like the black vanilla rasberry, pink grapefruit, pearberry (anything fruity really) or anything with vanilla the best.

Pearberry lotion or body spray from bath and body works.

My son is 2 years old and he loves anything with the Little Einstiens. So anything with the Little Einsteins would be fantastic. His birthday is coming up a month and its hard to find Little Einsteins toys here. Anything Little Einsteins would be great. He loves books and

BIG WISH! A Thomas the Train piggy bank or a Bob the Builder piggy bank. Okay pretty much anything thats a piggy bank that relates to tools, trains, trucks, cars, dinosaurs, monster trucks, Fisher Price little people or anything like that would be fantastic! Oh and if it plays music that would be even better!!!!

BIG WISH! Fisher Price little people sets (my son has the barn, the garage and the ABC school thingie) or the little people by themselves. They can be gently used but new would be awesome!!!

Okay this one is a far out one but I'd really love The Boleyn Inheritance by Philippa Gregory on CD if anyone is done with it and would like to pass it on to me I would be so so so happy!
