I'm due with another baby girl in 4 weeks and I just finished her nursery last night. Still have a few things to do, like iron the curtains, and add storage boxes to the white storage bench under the window, but other than that it's finally DONE!!!

Sooo, I painted the room, painted the "murals", made the crib mobile, made the white bird mobile, made the clock from a plain boring IKEA clock, made the curtains, valance, crib sheet, crib bumper, crib skirt, changing pad cover, covered the lamp shade, painted the canvases above the futon and made the accent pillows on the futon.. I also put together the futon, nightstand, dresser and the storage bench under the window - the only thing DH did was put together the crib.  The pink hanging lantern thingy we bought in India a long time ago, it had been sitting in DDs closet forever.

I'm exhausted just writing all of that lol

If anyone wants better(larger) pics lemme know what you wanna see closer up.

Thanks for looking! Cheesy

My baby is 6 months old now and I just wanted to add a pic of her in her room.  She doesn't really use her room yet, but I still love going in there and marveling at my handiwork Wink

Your new nursery is adorable!  I love that you've created your own them (down to the clock) and not gone with a registered trademark character or even a typical baby's room animal!  YEY!

You should be VERY proud!!
I love the color conbinations, it's very pretty but nit frilly baby-ish, it will grow with her.
That fabric is amazing! could we see a close up of that as well?
The art above the futon is awesome, I really want to do something like tht above my own bed.

Holy crap, you were a crafting machine! With all of that pregnancy crafting experience, your baby will probably come out with her own wardrobe that she created in utero. Congrats on the new baby and the super awesome nursery!

wow!!!  this is amazing.  i can't believe you did ALL of that!  i can't decide what my favorite part is... i think the crib bumper.

i like that you used both blue and pink, too - who says a girl's room needs to be entirely "girly" colors?
